You've probably already checked, but could the new dental work be causing
you unconsciously to shift the mouthpiece to the left slightly? Check in a
mirror if you haven't already. Lots of people play slightly to one side or
the other because of teeth that aren't centered the same as their lips, but
if you've suddenly made a shift, your embouchure muscles might not be
accommodating it.
