My memory is that Larry Combs said that at least once, and perhaps
twice, during his master class at ClarinetFest 2000 when he also talked
about using Legere's reed. I came away with the impression that the
mouthpiece is more important to Mr. Combs than the reed is --- which
seems reasonable to me.
