Try playing Duo II in C for 2 Clarinets from B.H. Crusell. The piece has
three parts. 1. Allegro, 2. Andante con moto, 3. Allegro vivace
It's a great piece of music and I'm playing it on a school event.

Cheers,

Betreff: [kl] Does anyone know a good duet piece?

My friend and I would like to explore the advantages of doing a duet
together. We are both freshman high school students, but our playing ability
is a little above that. We are looking for more of an upbeat piece of music
rather than a slow classical piece. This is because I am constantly playing
the classical pieces for my lessons. (Right now I'm doing Mozart K622.) So,
after all this prattle, my question is does anyone know of a good piece that
we could look at? We live in a highly developed region of the US, so our
recourses are far from limited. The piece would have to be for two Bb
clarinets around the Grade 3 1/2 to 4 category, but if there is a really
exceptional piece we find for a few more, even of different instruments, we
might consider based on the availability of people interested in doing
something like this. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Luv ya all so much!
<3 Lauryn
