I thought the following quote would be interesting in light of our recent
discussion on technique. I will resist the temptation to make any long
winded comment on it. I think it speaks for itself.

"I don't beat myself up on the technical thing. I'm not a perfectionist by
any means. I'm just a musician."

PS I will say that this kind of mentality may cause me to eventually drop
the "Percussion" from Jay's Clarinet and Percussion.
