I respect Lelia's writing skill, and I truly believe that the juxtaposition of the her paragraphs and the discussion of small vote margins was not unintentional, but my opinion on this was not why Lelia left the list or the BBoard; no mention of my feelings on this were communicated to Lelia at first. She objected to a very short email I sent after I read and deleted the completely off-topic posting on the BBoard. I had not deleted any politically oriented postings prior to this, since they were just one or two liners throwing darts at both sides. After an exchange of emails I decided to ban all political comments on the BBoard since it could easily get out of hand yet again.

Considering that the messages stating my opinion were sent in three _personal_ emails, I feel that no public apology is warranted. Those who forwarded my personal email to other parties should not have done so. Those three parties could easily have asked Lelia for a copy of her posting and made up their own minds.
