I don't know of any cd roms, but If you go to Gary Ewer's Easy Music Theory,
that is the one of the best sites I've ever seen that is simplistic, yet it
will get the point across. The address for it is

there are many lessons for this site. I suggest looking at all of them, but
the one that you are looking for will be lesson numbers 7,10, and 11. They
are on "small" intervals, intervals, and inverting intervals.
