Subj: [kl] need help on transcription and Mozart K.622

Moving K.622 to the Bb clarinet puts the piano is a rough key. The music
appears to be available for Bb clarinet in 4-5 different versions at
www.luybenmusic.com. If your piano player doesn't feel up to it, David
Blumberg, who posts here from time to time, has the piano accompaniment on
CD. I don't knw if that would be appropriate for you, but if you like, I
think his address is music@-----.

IMO, the theory that K.622 should only be played on an A clarinet is fine,
except for people who don't have an A clarinet and have no hope of access to
an A clarinet.

Hope this helps, Jim Hobby
