They exist! I play them!
Here in the Netherlands a lot of professionals are playing on Wurlitzers
German bore - French keyed (Boehm).
I have such a set, as well as a brand new set of Yamaha, also German bore -
French keyed. Since Karl Leister (former principal of Berlin Philharmonic
Orchestra, and a German player) is working in the Saito Kinen Orchestra
(Japan) a lot of Japanese players are also playing on the Yamaha `germanĀ“
clarinets...
But, they are rather expensive: both the Wurlitzer (made in Germany) as the
Yamahas (made in Japan) costs in The Netherlands USD 10.000 (for a set, i.e.
A and Bb)...)
pfffff.... :-)
