Maybe we could take it one step further - that is, for a recital, it would
be better to prepare music that is recital-oriented rather than Concerto
oriented. That is - the Mozart is great for solo ensemble, study for
performance with an orchestra, or study for orchestral audition, but there
is other, perhaps more appropriate music available for a solo recital than
a piece transcribed for clarinet and piano.
