Come to think of it, since the tunes are standard folk tunes, you
could find them in most _any_ folk songbook. Here is a complete list
of the song titles:

The Maid of Amsterdam
High Barbaree
The Pirate Song
The Constitution and the Guerriere
The Hornet and the Peacock
Ye Pariliaments of England
The Patriotic Diggers
Miss Bailey's Ghost
Blow the Man Down
Away, Rio
Shenandoah
The Drunken Sailor
Hullabaloo Belay
Haul Away, Joe
Sacramento
Rolling Home
Blow Ye Winds
The Whale
Song of the Fishes
The Dreadnought
The Crocodile Song

I don't know if Anchors Aweigh (the U.S. Navy song) is public domain?

My copy of this book has a history. When I was a teenager, I was not
wow'ing the ladies as much as I wished I could. My grandfather was a
travellng salesman as a young man (long before this book was printed)
and he told me that he sold whisky while travelling across the country
with his guitar. He told me that, as a young man, his voice and music
never failed to win the ladies. A few weeks later, his old beat up
guitar and the Burl Ives book arrived in the mail. ....well, my voice
and the guitar weren't as successful as he said that his were, but the
guitar and book are very precious keepsakes of mine.

I can think of a few other sea chanties, etc. for which I don't have the
music:

Jack Was Every Inch A Sailor
Eddystone Light
Early in The Morning ("Earl-li-eeee in the morning")

=============================

Come to think of it, 1953 is out of copyright, isn't it? If so, I'm
willing to copy a few of them out by hand for you.

Cheers,
Bill
