Yes! Dental floss works beautifully. I've used it on my bassoon for loose
corks and for wrapping around bridgework that was off-kilter (instead of
trying to bend it). Of course, it's a quick fix, and getting the corks
replaced is the best answer.

Another quick fix that works well is dental floss. It is easily removed
when you want, but can also be left on between playings if you wish. It can
also be used in a jiffy to quick-repair a tenon cork coming off.
