an earlier thread had someone using Velcro for a ligature. Tried it,
interesting, more open, and loose. May use it for Jazz type pieces,
or Polka? Back to my lovely Rovner...

I managed to try out a Bay ligautre and I loved it. The only thing that
turned me off to it was that it didn't seem to have a mouthpiece cap for it,
and since I was there mainly to try out mouthpieces (I ended up buying one
of yours, actually, Mr. Fobes, and I love it!) I didn't want to risk having
hte mouthpiece scratched up just so I could have a ltitle better response.
Does anybody know if they make a mouthpiece cap that fits on the Bay
ligature? All I know is that neither the Woodwind/Brasswind or Muncy seems
to carry one. If it weren't for this fault, I'd be out there to buy a Bay in
an instant!
