Subj: [kl] Mouthpieces & where to find them....

Hi List!

I've been lurking around in the shadows for awhile now, but I've finally
decided to come out and say something... I believe that my poor vandoren
B45-13 mouthpiece has finally bitten the dust after being played on for six
years by me, who got it in 6th grade, and as a young student didn't exactly
care for it well... I've been trying to read up on lots of different
mouthpieces, and of course in typical student style, am still "stuck" on
vandoren m/p's. However, after reading some mouthpiece posts a while ago,
I've come to the realization that even if I find a mouthpiece that sounds
really cool (I think i really like the 5RV-Lyre 13) it doesn't make a
difference until I try it... so, along that note, does anybody know of any
music stores somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area that would carry lots
and lots of different mouthpieces that I could try, so I could find the
right one? And also, has anyone tried the Vandoren 2-Tone m/p's? They
sound cool :) Thanks for the help...

Nathan Daniels
