Finale Allegro isn't worth the money. It has only a few features more than
PrintMusic! and not the ones that are of any use. It has no more dynamic
control available than PrintMusic! does and that is in my mind a major
drawback. If Midi features are a necessity for you, then only Finale itself
in this product line will do the job. There is a good comparison chart of
features at Finale's site. If you don't need these, save yourself some
money and get PrintMusic! at only $69. That assumes that you want to go
with the Finale product line of course.

I will also comment that although I have since upgraded to Encore, as far
features go, MusicTime Deluxe probably gets you the most for your money.
However that is not to say that this is the program for everyone.
