You guys really are missing the boat. Loctite 680 is NOT a glue. Loctite
680 fills the void and then slightly expands. ANY shimming procedure is
an imprecise pain in the butt. I have never seen a shim job that really
lasts. At their worst an uneven shim will cause cracking of the socket.
