At the time of my original post, I had not located the serial numbers of the
stolen
instruments. The description of contents was the best I could do. However,
I did post
the serial numbers in an update. They are as follows:

Buffet RC Prestige Bb Clarinet S/N 268179
Buffet RC Prestige A Clarinet S/N 260807

The instruments were stolen in Pasadena, California on Friday, 5 January.

Some of us wouldn't know an Adiamo Brief Bag from a duffel
bag. The rest of the "identifying" stuff inside the case,
well, not too many folks are going to remember the list and
any smart fence would pitch most of it anyway. Find the
serial numbers and post them to the sneezy stolen clarinet
list. You are going to need those numbers when you file a a
police report and then a claim with your insurance.
(Hopefully, these are somehow insured.) Some police
departments actually get lists of items from pawn shops.
The listings will look like "clarinet, 123123123".

Best luck
jim
