Kelly (do I have the right person?),

Personally, I think you can do much better than a Schreiber for the money it
would cost to do an overhaul. I would buy a good mouthpiece first and then
with what ever is left, either keep saving for a better instrument, or if
feasible, buy a step-up instrument. If you could give an idea of your budget
limits, it would be easier to help you.
