Sorry to be a little late on this, but I have a good Yo-Yo Ma story.
About 15 years ago, he came to do the Elgar concerto with RSO. While he
was in Richmond, a local rock club had a band called "Yo Mama", and had
plastered every power pole in the metro area with their posters! When
Yo-Yo Ma (the cellist!) was here for a recital last year, he remembered
the event in his talk from the stage!
