What is known about D. H. McKenney, clarinettist of the
Los Angeles Wind Quintet? What, at least, was his full name?
Other members of the group included Haakon Berg flute/piccolo,
Gordon Pope oboe, Don Christlieb bassoon, and Jack Cave horn].
They recorded Kleine Kammermusik on 78 rpm records
(Columbia set mx-149) slightly differently from the current edition.
What date?Hindemith was in the States in the 1940s...
Can anyone help?

I recall that Christlieb recorded the Duet Concertino with_Gerald_Caylor_
[LP, Capitol CTL 7007] in 1951 (?) with the LA Chamber Symphony
and I have never seen Caylor's name anywhere else. He was at
20th Century Fox, and in the Portland, Hollywood Bowl and Janssen
Orchestra of LA.
