Hey, folks! A pattern seems to be emerging here.
Does this mean I have to cancel all my chamber music days, etc.., etc?
I could, but I am not going to. What I want to know is: -
What are you going to do with all this information?
Your postbags must be full of it. Answers on a post card please and a
small prize for the funniest/most original contribution. I have a copy of
Nicolas Slonimsky's Lexicon of Musical Invective, Critical Assaults on
Composers since Beethoven, but never imagined I would have to use it
defensively. Try page 141, Reger's Piano Concerto.... No, no I can't
copy it here. It is almost unprintable.

One PhD candidate, not on this list, who will be perennially much, much
cleverer than I am, and anonymous, on receipt of one of my replies to a
craven request for urgent help, then asked:- "What shall I do with it?"
Oh well, I tried.
