Sounds like a perfect prescription for band program FAILURE. I'm sure they
don't let the kids take textbooks home to do homework, either. God forbid
they should learn something, either book learning or self-discipline. They
might grow up to be productive citizens, maybe even Republicans! I
understand they are trying to guard against the inevitable music loss, but
you have to risk SOMETHING to get the rewards!
