Yes. Military bamds play a wide variaty of music for different occasions.
Those minor scales (natural, harmonic, melodic) will come in to play.
Actually once you can play the major scales, all you have to do for the
minor scales is know the key signature and the difference between them. A
good music theory book (first semester) college book will help you here
along with knowing the circle of fifths.
