Hello, list, and happy-old-year.

Am futzing around with my idiot box and my QuickTime won't work in
some places where it used to - and ought to. Have installed both
versions 2.5 and 4.1.2, and I suspect that some small problem is
preventing the computer from recognizing that the 4.1.2 version is
there. Various audio-video web pages won't sing and dance for me the
way they ought . . . the problem dates from the time - several months
ago now - when I tried to upgrade from 2.5 to 4.1.x.

Is there anyone who is able and willing to advise me? If so, please
send me a line off-list - unless this is something others have an
interest in . . .?
