I have been a user of the Clark Fobes CF mouthpiece for almost a
year now and am extremely pleased with it. I have also received
many compliments on my sound since getting this mouthpiece. A
local repair technician has looked at a number of the Clark Fobes
and concluded that he does excellent work on them. It's sound is
warm and vibrant at the same time. It plays very smoothly through
the entire range of the Clarinet. Because it is a closed face
mouthpiece tonguing is much easier, and because of the vibrant
quality the sound carries very well. Many users of more open
mouthpieces have been surprised at the volume and presence that
I get out of a closed face mouthpiece. One of the music stores
that I have been teaching at has started to carry them and they sell
very quickly, despite the higher price tag.

I definitely suggest trying one before making a final purchase.

P.S. I do not get any commision from Clark Fobes. And all of the
previous is IMHO.
