I must have been good this year - Santa brought me some Mountain Dew and a
3 1/2 Legere...

I'm not sure if the tone quality is *exactly* the same as a cane reed
(I'll have to see if my band director notices..my clarinetist mom couldn't
tell the difference) but it plays really smoothly. I like it! :)

I use them quite a bit with my younger students as they just play without
the time wasting adjustments, and reed problems of warping, etc., and they
sound quite good.
