Tom,

I'm not at all surprised to hear you say that a Fobes Debut plays better than a
Vandoren B-45. I've played, sampled, tested dozens of B-45 mouthpieces. Never
found one I liked. Found several, though, that played grossly out of tune.

I have played the Fobes mouthpiece. I'm totally impressed with it. Although I
haven't tried everything on the market in that price range, I would be very
surprised if ANYTHING could be better. Would be interested in trying your
recommendation of the Legere 2.5 on the Debut.
