Just to be perfectly clear about this --- and I'm not a medical
expert --- I have heard that ingestion is not necessary. Napthalene
(I've heard) is absorbed through the skin. Also, after it sublimates
into the air, it redeposits itself onto other surfaces such as clothes
and or, in this case, the interior and exterior of your clarinet.

Most upscale department stores and clothing stores and drug stores
sell them.
