Congratulations. Sounds like you got a great deal. Your sax, according to
Selmer, dates to 1970. My own VI alto is a 1958 model. I prefer its
smooth sound to the new Series III Selmers, although the new ones have
marvelous intonation and excellent ergonomics. In fact, in some cases, I
think the key placement has moved back closer to the the Mark VI design!
