G'day all,

Just bought myself a Mark VI alto for Christmas. The
most surprising part of my purchase is that I didn't
have to win the lottery to get it. If you are sitting
down I will tell you the price:

In Australian Dollars $1000.00!!!!!(At the present
currency exchange that makes US$552.90)!

The guy I bought it from bought it about 7 years ago
and never took it out of it's case. It has been
sitting in his garage for that time. It is is good
condition but because it hasn't been touched for that
period it does need a little work to get it back to
pristine condition.

It's serial number is: M182921

Although I know it's history (It was bought by the Air
Force Band new and he bought it at auction when the
band replaced it with a Super Action 80) i don't know
it's age etc. I have been told that some information
can be gained from it's serial number. If that is so
and someone could fill me in I would appreciate any
help.
