Hi!

Been using the Legere, and been fascinated by some of the
apparent implications. As an engineer, and an 85 day wonder
on the clarinet, (yesterday was day 85 since I re-started the
clarinet), I hear a tone on the Legere that
I could not get on the 50 odd bamboo sticks I have tried.

I have not gotten time in the anechoic with spectrum analyzer,
so I am guessing. I think I am picking up more even
harmonics, and lower odd harmonics. This would make the sound
somewhat warmer and deeper. (avoiding the word "darker.")

My question is: Has anyone done an acoustic study on this?
many thanks!

Terry

P.S. squeak much less, either I am getting much better, or
there is some internal dampening at the "speak register"
