Terry, that's all you may find. The "Mazzeo" system simply involved the
addition of a linkage between the right hand rings and the side Bb key so
you could produce a better sounding throat Bb while going over the register
break more smoothly. You played throat Bb by pressing the right hand rings
along with the open A key (no thumb needed). It was incorporated into a line
of (Selmer) Bundy clarinets, I guess on the theory that students would find
an immediate benefit and the system would grow up with the players. I don't
know if it got onto any regular pro Selmers (maybe some special orders) -
the already established players had learned the more traditional solutions
to both problems Mazzeo was addressing and, for the most part, didn't feel
much need to change. So those Bundys (Bundies?) were probably the only
production line instruments made with the Mazzeo keywork.

I was a student at the time Mazzeo's system first appeared. Maybe someone
with a better memory can fill in more or correct me if I've got it wrong.
