The truth is I do not know what you have found!
Originally a radio tape perhaps?

Alfred Boskovsky (1913-1990) never recorded
without members of the Vienna Octet, but Willi was replaced
by Anton Fietz. The clarinettist of the New Vienna
Octet was always the Moravian born
(Olomouc 1941) Peter Schmidl.
He recorded it in 1977 (Decca SDD 508)
I have most of the Vienna Octet's recordings
but no live concerts.

Wlach's dates are 1902 - 1956 .
Wlach recorded the Schubert Octet
in 'mono', (Whitehall WH 20065), with the Vienna
Konzerthaus Quartet, Karl Oehlberger bassoon,
Gottfreid von Freiberg, horn and Josef Hermann, double bass

PS I just found, in reply to a previous post from Dan,
I wrote on 28 May 2000

DL: "Who is the marvellous clarinet player in what is
obviously a live performance?"
----------------------
The Vienna Octet's clarinettist was Alfred Boskovsky (1913-1990),
brother of Willi, pupil of Leopold Wlach
The Vienna Octet was founded by Willi in 1947
They recorded the Schubert Octet in the studio
for Decca in 1955, 1958 and 1969 (maybe more)
The Vienna Octet never recorded without Alfred
When a second clarinet was require - rarely
(e.g. Mozart Divertimento K 113) he was not named.
Willi (1909-91) was replaced by Anton Fietz
but am not sure of the date, but before 1962
Willi and Alfred's recordings together include the following:
1950 Beethoven Septet (78rpm)
1955 Schubert Octet (33.3rpm)
1956 Beethoven Septet
1957 Brahms Quintet, Spohr Octet, Poot Octet,
1957 Mozart Trio (Willi playing the viola!)
1958 Schubert Octet Decca LXT 5455,1969 Decca SDD 230
Willi Boskovsky, Philipp Matheis, Guenther Breitenbach va,
Nikolaus Huebner vc, Johann Krump db, Alfred Boskovsky,
Josef Veleba hn, Rudolph Hanzl bn.

Presently undated: Mozart Divertimento K113, Spohr Nonet, Kreutzer Septet
