There is a brass band here in Las Vegas that is made up primarily of
professional musicians. They have made at least one recording and last I
heard were working on another. The husband of my son's clarinet teacher
is one of the lead players.

Early this year there was some kind of brass band competition here in Las
Vegas. I received a call from a trumpet player from Southern California,
now in her 70s and still going strong, who was here with a band for the
event. I had played in her dance band while I was in college (late
1960s).
