Oliver,

Your willingness to jump right in to my concerns is heartwarming,
indeed. It's similar to that of a number of other list members. What a
great bunch!

The Beethoven is an intriguing suggestion. The Kegelstatt is one we've
done with the original configuration; our cellist was able to negotiate
the vagaries of the alto clef well enough. I'll try to sell our leader
on trying it with bassoon. The Bruch Eight Pieces is marvelous music
indeed. There are probably others which will be more appropriate to our
"mission." I'll download the double for consideration.
