Audrey,

Symantec sells Norton Personal Firewall. I'm sure that other vendors have similar products. I have
not anything like this installed on my machine at home (just Norton Antivirus) but the security
measures at my work picked up on this one easily.

I cannot recommend enough that you get an up-to-date virus checker installed. As I said, I use
Norton Antivirus, but there are some quite good share/freeware ones too. Once you have it installed
it is vital that you check online for updates regularly (which reminds me....)

I can't remember which virus this one was, as everything was deleted from the company's mail server.
Think it was either Navidad or Shoerec. Both of these would be picked up easily by Norton Antivirus
or most other current programs. Also, if you are using Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express, you should
download the security updates from microsoft
website.(http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/iebuild/scriptlet/en/scriptlet.htm)

It's also possible to stop messages sent from that address to get through. Your email client should
have a way of doing it. (Message Rules in Outlook/Express and Mail agents in Notes/Domino)

Regards

Ian
