Klarinet Archive - Posting 000858.txt from 2000/12
From: Donna Higgins <Donna@-----.com> Subj: Re: [kl] weird mail Date: Fri, 15 Dec 2000 11:29:15 -0500
I, too, received an unsolicited e-mail containing an infected attachment, that
appeared to come through an Australian server, and appeared to originate with the
intended recipient (me).
The message got caught in my virus filter. It contained a file called music.exe,
which contained a virus identified as I-Worm.Music.
A friend who subscribes to some mailing lists dealing computer security and
Internet technical issues posted a query and got the following URLs containing
more information about the I-Worm.Music virus.
