Here is an Idea. Lets set up a Rose recording reference library. We could
each record one slow one fast. Nominate some online judges to listen, and put
together an online Mp3 collection of the 40 and 32 studies. Maybe we could
have a small entrance fee to raise money for the up keep of the list or some
other clarinet worthy endeavor. Maybe we could have different categories,
like "this is the one to imitate," most "wigged out" performance. A period
instrument category. This could be a lot of fun! This is something everyone
on this list could enjoy doing. Maybe for a donation this group of judges
might do a critique of the performances. when it's all over we would have a
downloadable collection of Rose etudes. So lets hear some ways to make this
happen! I'll help out any way I can.
