I'd certainly try the Beethoven WoO37 trio originally for flute, bassoon
and piano. When dropped an octave, the flute part assigned to clarinet
sounds fine to me.

Mozart's Kegelstatt Trio K. 498 sounds yummy when the viola part is
assigned to a bassoon without any pitch adjustment.

Max Bruch's Eight Pieces for A Clarinet, Viola and Piano, Op. 83, might
work well also. I only listened to the first few bars of #1 and it sounds
super when the viola is assigned to a bassoon.

His double concerto for clarinet, viola and orchestra (piano reduction),
Op. 88, has some octave problems when the viola is assigned to the bassoon.

Pull the MIDI files off my Web page,
http://webchem.csudh.edu/musicfiles/clarmusi.htm and see what you think.

Good luck,

Oliver
