As a follow-up to this line of questioning (wow, I sounded like a lawyer for
just a moment there - sorry - I'll try to avoid that in the future) I would
like to invite comments from anyone who may have played the Trio for
clarinet, bassoon and piano by William Hurlstone. I have played his bassoon
sonata several times, and enjoy it very much, but I have never heard the
trio, nor have I talked with anyone who has played it. Any responses?
