Arthur, I was only kidding. But it might have been offensive to people
with only one leg, or even no legs, I now see, so I apologise.>>

Thank you Tony, when I was writng itI shared your concern for the feelings of
those with less than two legs and I should have left the phrase *on
average*out; my meaning would then have been clearer. But I anticipated some
meticulous [I almost wrote "nit-picking"] reader would have found it
necessary to correct that statement.

The explanation of "average" "median" and "mode", is appreciated, at least by
me, it is over 40 years since I last needed to know that. Sorry, that sounds
churlish, I still need to know that, but I hope you know what I mean.
