Subj: [kl] How to sell a clarinet
Date: Thu, 14 Dec 2000 19:05:00 -0500

Hi,

If this question is inappropriate for this list, please let me know.

I used to play the clarinet in high school, and own a B flat clarinet and an
A clarinet. These days I don't play that often any more, and so I want to
sell the A clarinet. Does anyone know of a place/person in the Boston area
that can check out the clarinet and make any necessary repairs before I sell
it? I wasn't sure if I should trust a music store. I am also a little
afraid of asking for too much/too little for it, so I wanted to get an idea
of how much it it worth. I thought maybe if I go to the music department of
a local college, someone might be able to tell me, but wanted to have an
idea to start with.

Thanks.
