Dear Lori,
Although Mr. Blayman probably doesn't remember me, I remember him
very well as one of the clarinet teachers at Interlochen, summer of
1964. I will never forget his warm-up, which at the time was to play a G
(throat) and articulate it as fast as possible. I always knew he was
around when I could hear his "machine gun" G. He was very well loved by
everybody at Interlochen. To this day, I like to "machine gun" my G's,
