Your [messages] only have the normal klarinet header. Here's an
example of the problem from someone else's [WebTV] posting, with the
content of the message itself snipped out:

So far as I know,WebTV does not allow the user any flexibility
whatsoever in how much header info gets passed along.

I've tried to duplicate the example that you quoted (by replying to
myself). I can duplicate maybe 5% of the excess header, but 95% of it
appears to be a special quirk of the locality from which Anne posts.
It's true that WebTV includes a few extra header lines if I "attach" the
previous message rather than cutting and pasting from it, but (on my
server) nothing like the amount of extra stuff in your example.

I'm not a computer guru, but I'm guessing that WebTV has different
servers in different parts of the country, and Anne may be cursed with
one that goes overboard when she attaches (rather than pastes) a quote.

Just as a test --- my apologies for sending a test to the entire
list, but I want to see if WebTV behaves differently when I reply to the
list rather than replying to myself --- I'm going to quote from someone
else's message by attaching, just to see what happens.
