Thank you, Ed, for doing this.

But I do want to add that the fact that you used spirometers adds
absolutely nothing to the validity of the previous, simple experiment.
If you breathe in, sitting down, hold your breath, and then can't
breathe in any more when you stand up, then that's it. QED. Science
isn't made science by using 'scientific' instruments, as Richard Feynman
demonstrated by putting the O-ring into iced water, and then clamping
it, on television.
