I totally agree. I saw it twice, and would go again.
Just to add to Lelia's plaudits: another fascinating aspect for me was
Bjork's willingness for much of the film to use a singing technique that
practically invited her being thought to be vocally 'crippled'. Hence
the adverse critical reactions, "she can't sing, she can't dance......"
I didn't particularly see it as anything to do with the US as I watched
it -- that only occurred in subsequent discussion.
Extraordinarily moving.
