Subj: [kl] deep breaths: Stand or Sit?
Date: Tue, 12 Dec 2000 19:32:48 -0500

I see that I am annoying people again!

My observations are:
1. the test I point out is INSTRUMENTED with calibrated
medical equipment and REPEATABLE. Is yours??
2. I find the result of interest, but unless/until I find
the need for that extra 25%, I will remain seated.

:
: But I *don't* gain up to 25% lung capacity, as I just explained.
: Neither does my son (who just tried it). (Unless 0% counts as 'up to
: 25%':-)
:
: So the 'you' in that last sentence certainly doesn't apply if
: either of
: us takes it in its usual way.
:
: Did you try it yourself, Terry? How about the rest of you?
:
: > I will remain seated, thank-you
:
: I don't understand this.
:
: Of course, you do what you want. I play the Mozart concerto sitting
: down, and the Bartok Contrasts standing up. But that's for other
: reasons than breath capacity.
