Actually, yes. But I was merely quoting from the previous post, which
mentioned an up to 25% gain. I did find in my own experimentation that, if
one draws a breath while SLOUCHING in a chair and then rises, more air can
indeed be taken into the lungs. If one is sitting up properly, however,
there is no significant gain. My conclusion then, is that the REAL
difference is not between standing and sitting, but between proper and
improper posture.
