The noise of the cigarette papers during soft passages drives
sometimes me crazy. I'm off to find some END PAPERS.

BTW Mr. Herb Blayman (retired clarinetist from the MET who
now resides in New Mexico) has been in and out of the hospital
the past couple of weeks with heart difficulties. He is now doing
much better. I will be sending a card from some of us around
here and would be happy to include any well-wishing posts from
the Klarinet List! He would love it.
