I guess I stand corrected (how quickly things can change). If it says that
is designed for use in stand alone CD recorders, it has the special
tax/copy-protection code in it (thus a higher cost for the media). Consumer
recorders must use discs with that code. The professional recorders out
there do not require this-- Roger Garrett mentioned a HHB burner. It is
made by Fostex for that company and is geared towards professional use.
Thus it can burn on just about any media out there, data or music...
