First of all, I'd like to say HI! to everyone again after being off the list
for the last few months! Good to see you all again!

In response to your query, Tony, I prefer to play sitting down. I've found
that I can't play worth anything stading up, plus, my right wrist becomes
wrenched with pain after 5 minutes if I stand.

As a matter of fact, I just played a recital last night and played Debussy's
Premiere Rhapsodie and Brahms' f minor Sonate both sitting down and my
jurors didn't have any problem with it at all, and neither did any of my
colleagues. (I also played some chamber music sitting down, but that's a
given.)

Above all, though, do what makes you the most comfortable. YOU'RE the one
playing.

Ciao!

Lacy S.
